Sentinel Pulse and Cloud: Two Engines, Two Questions, One Chart

Most trading overlays sell one voice. One HUD. One AI says buy.
Discipline AI TradingView suite does the opposite on purpose.
Sentinel Cloud asks about the environment. Sentinel Pulse asks about the moment. They do not wait for each other. They can disagree. That disagreement is a feature — not a bug.
Discipline AI is a trading intelligence and education product. It is not a broker. It does not hold your funds and it does not place live orders on your behalf. Trading involves risk of loss. Nothing on this site, in the app, or in this article is financial advice.
This is a product-true post — like our notes on the Trust Center, paper vs proof, Ask Sentinel, and I'm in / Trade Watch. Craft articles on the blog teach process. Posts like this one exist so you can inspect a real surface: Sentinel Pulse + Cloud on TradingView.
Why two engines
Traders collapse two different questions into one tip:
Is this asset in a rare discount / structure regime?
Did closed-bar evidence align on this timeframe right now?
Those are not the same question. Forcing one indicator to answer both usually creates theater — green when you want green, silent when you want an excuse.
Cloud is patient context. Pulse is active alignment. Pulse does not wait for Cloud. Cloud does not authorize Pulse.
What Cloud is
Cloud is about where the asset sits in a larger discount cycle — environment language, not a buy button.
You will see states traders rarely market:
Quiet
Watch
Stabilizing
Confirmed (rare on purpose)
Confirmed is not enter. Amber is the Cloud most people will actually live with. Green is scarce because the engine is meant to stay quiet when the environment is not unusual.
What Pulse is
Pulse is about what the chart did on a completed bar — trend, swings, and momentum agreeing enough to stamp a mark.
A Pulse BUY or SELL mark means defined evidence aligned on a closed bar. It is not a guaranteed outcome. It is not Cloud. It is not a broker order. 1H / 4H / D do not have to bless the mark for it to exist.
If you treat every mark as destiny, you bought the wrong product.
What the suite is not (on purpose)
Not a live signal feed. The scripts read the chart. They do not phone home to invent tips for your notification tray.
Not auto-trading. You keep the seat. Same doctrine as I'm in and view-only connect.
Not Cloud must confirm before Pulse counts. That rule sounds disciplined and quietly kills honest disagreement.
Not proof. Alignment is not expectancy theater. Paper and live stay labeled — see paper is practice, not proof and the Trust Center.
How this sits next to the phone app
Discipline AI app — tips, Ask, journal, portfolio, paper loop
Ask Sentinel — check your plan before you commit
Sentinel Pulse + Cloud — chart language on TradingView when you want environment vs moment as separate voices
Trust Center — public methodology when we are not in the room
Different jobs. Same doctrine: agency kept, silence allowed, no custody story.
How to try it
Open the suite page: Sentinel Cloud
Read the field guide PDF on that page before you turn knobs
Pay once for founding invite-only access (Cloud and Pulse)
Email support@disciplineaiapp.com with the email you paid with and your TradingView username
Add both overlays — Cloud HUD top-right, Pulse HUD bottom-right
Create alerts sparingly (closed bar) — do not build a vault of stacked conditions
Scan the wider map on Features. App Pass stays on Pricing. The phone app remains the subscriber product; Pulse and Cloud are the TradingView suite beside it.
Closing
One voice is easy to sell.
Two honest engines that can disagree are harder — and more useful.
Cloud for the environment. Pulse for the moment. Neither is a broker. Neither is permission to abandon process.
Start at sentinel-cloud. Keep the Trust Center bookmarked when someone sells certainty.
